The service

AskTheLegends.com provides AI-generated responses written in the voice of well-known historical and cultural figures. All responses are produced by artificial intelligence and are offered for entertainment and educational purposes only. They do not represent the actual views, statements, beliefs, or endorsements of any person, living or deceased, nor of their estates, families, or representatives.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Site. By using the Site you represent that you meet this age requirement.

Premium subscriptions

• Premium is billed monthly through Stripe at the rate disclosed at checkout.
• You may cancel at any time from your account or by emailing support@askthelegends.com; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Except where required by law, fees for digital subscriptions are non-refundable.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Site to:

• Harass, defame, threaten, or impersonate any person.
• Violate any applicable law or regulation.
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or scrape the Site at a volume that imposes an unreasonable load on our infrastructure.
• Generate content intended to mislead readers into believing it represents the actual statements of a real person.

We reserve the right to remove content, suspend accounts, or refuse service to anyone for any reason, including violations of these Terms.

Disclaimers

The Site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, nor that AI-generated content will be accurate, complete, or fit for any particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

Do not make medical, legal, financial, or other consequential real-world decisions based on responses you read on this Site.

Intellectual property

The Site design, code, written prompts, brand, and original content are owned by us. AI-generated text returned through the chat interface is provided to you for your personal, non-commercial use.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Texas.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
